Rethinking Food - Where there is waste, we see new tastes
We up-cycle spent coffee grounds (coffee waste) into a new food ingredient: COFFEE BASE. That’s right, that means that we are creating food without using arable land!
You can add COFFEE BASE to your end-products (ex. confectionary goods, snacks, baked goods) to not only improve their nutritional profile, but to additionally give your consumers the up-cycled foods they are searching for!
Did you know that spent coffee grounds contain 99% of coffee's nutrients (dietary fiber, caffeine, proteins, minerals)? This means that when we brew our beloved cup of coffee, we are only exploiting 1% of what coffee can give us.
